Reflecting on a journey shaped by people, progress and proud achievements. From our very first extrusion line in 1990 to today’s state‑of‑the‑art facility, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to excellence in British manufacturing, to sustainability, and to trusted partnerships.

Made in Britain

BOAL Extrusion UK is proudly Made in Britain. Every profile we design, extrude, machine and finish is produced right here in Leicestershire. Our Local4Local approach means short lead times, reduced transport emissions, and stronger ties with the communities we serve. By keeping production close to our customers, we deliver agility and reliability while supporting the UK economy.

Our local commitment extends well beyond manufacturing. In partnership with Falcon Support Services, our team cycled for 35 hours, covering 778 miles and raising funds for their Christmas campaign. Initiatives such as these, together with our recognition through the VAL Award for Charity and Business Partnership of the Year, demonstrate how deeply our roots run in Leicestershire - proving that local supply and local responsibility truly go hand in hand.

Sustainability in action

Sustainability is not an add‑on; it is part of who we are. Through Blue by BOAL, we use recycled content billets and low‑carbon aluminium, powered entirely by renewable energy, to reduce our CO₂ footprint. Our tree‑planting partnership with Co‑Treetment, right on our doorstep in Thringstone, symbolises this commitment: 350 native trees planted, absorbing 175 tonnes of CO₂ over their lifetime. These actions reflect our belief in a circular future and in leaving a positive legacy for generations to come.
