When developing an aluminium profile, you need to understand from an early stage what is technically achievable and how different choices will affect manufacturability, quality and lead times. That is why BOAL becomes involved early in the project, considering function, geometry, alloy, wall thicknesses, tolerances, machining requirements, surface quality and production feasibility.

TO DELIVERY

An aluminium profile starts with a question. Sometimes there is already a drawing. Sometimes there is only an application, a technical requirement or an urgent production challenge. In every case, we begin by establishing what is needed to turn the initial idea into a profile that can be manufactured reliably. By closely coordinating design, technical assessment, extrusion, inspection and delivery — and communicating clearly and promptly throughout — we give you greater control over quality, lead times and the final result.

TECHNICAL ENQUIRY & ASSESSMENT

You contact us with a question, drawing, specification or application. Together with our design and technical specialists, we establish what the profile needs to achieve and assess its manufacturability, considering factors such as geometry, alloy, length, tolerances, wall thicknesses, machining and finishing requirements, lead time and the intended application.

DIE DEVELOPMENT & DESIGN OPTIMISATION

When a new die is required, we work with the die manufacturer to assess technical feasibility, cost and lead time. Where necessary, our specialists recommend design adjustments to improve manufacturability and support consistent, reliable production.

QUOTATION, APPROVAL & PLANNING

You receive a clear proposal based on the technical assessment, die requirements, production approach and lead time. Once the drawing and quotation have been approved, we order the die, schedule the next stages and confirm the production schedule and expected delivery date.

EXTRUSION, MACHINING & FINISHING

When the die is ready, it is inspected and prepared for production. Your aluminium profile, developed especially for your application, is then extruded to the agreed specifications. Where required, we coordinate tailored machining and finishing with our specialist partners, giving you a dedicated point of contact throughout the process.

QUALITY CONTROL, PACKAGING & DELIVERY

After production, your profiles are carefully inspected against the agreed specifications and packed to protect their quality during transport. We then coordinate delivery, keep you informed of the expected delivery date and ensure your order arrives as agreed, ready for the next stage of your production process.
